The Beach

Playa de Gandia is a long clean sand strip, very famous in the east coast for its extension (more than 3 km), sand quality and service resources (police, lifeguards, showers, toilets, children entertainment). These are the reason why Gandia gains the "blue flag" every year (EC EMBLEM).

The big dimensions of the beach let the people spending a relaxing and comfortable time because it's never so crowded even during the high season.

Gandia benefits of an excellent climate all year long: mild during the winter and warm in the summertime.

During the summer, prestigious brands organize shows on the beach, while Cocoloco and Bacarrà clubs usually plan aerobics-dance classes. These become a great meeting point for young people.

In 2000/2001 big refurbishment works have been made along the beach in order to limit the traffic jam, to beautify the beach with additional services.
The seafront is now composed by a lane where buses to and from Gandia run, sidewalks, bike path, gardens,... and an underground parking provided with a modern airing implant.
